Director of Nursing (RN in Columbus, MS

Aurora Health and Rehabilitation , a regional skilled nursing facility in Columbus, MS is seeking a top-notch Director of Nursing (DON). The primary purpose of the DON position is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Department to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. As part of an interdependent team of skilled and caring people the DON must act in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or the Medical Director. The DON must also ensure that the day-to-day performance of key health care service delivery processes meet key performance requirements, including regulatory, payer, and company requirements. ? Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree (RN) from an accredited college, university or nursing school. Experience
? Must have, as a minimum, 4-6 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital or long-term care facility.
? Must have, as a minimum, 2 years training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
